…today was a “run day”. I have had a crazy-packed week…moving from one thing to the next with little to no time in between. I finished at one gym, got changed into running clothes (more on this below), parked my car at my OLD gym (where I worked 5 years ago) and ran one of my old routes. Got in my car all sweaty and drove to the NEXT gym to shower before my next client.
Why am I sharing this? To show you how BUSY I am?? NO…we are alllllll busy.
I need to PRIORITIZE exercising. It doesn’t just happen even being a personal trainer. I could EASILY have “reasoned myself” out of running today.
My long term goals are too important to allow myself to DE-prioritize MYSELF out of a workout session.
How do YOU handle your busy days?
On another note…I packed my running clothes at 6:30 am…thinking this was a GREAT outfit, I looked like Grimace running up and down Livingston Avenue late this morning!!!!
