…Sundays are almost always a day off for me.  Completely.  The importance of rest cannot be overstated.  Your body needs to recover from strength training, needs to rest after cardio.

That being said, I am committed to this challenge, as I want YOU to be!!

So I needed to do SOMETHING today…without forgetting that rest is so important.

I am involved in a “Run the Year” challenge with three friends…we each have committed to run a specific number of miles this year.  My number is 750.  Before today, I had run 17 miles this week.  I like round, even numbers…….so I went out for a nice easy 3 miles. 🙂

27 minutes and DONE.

Also, if I’m being totally honest, it’s Super Bowl Sunday, so I’ll be eating more than my share of calories today…
