Hi. Like many of you, I have had it with the weather…which further supports the plan to get in some exercise EACH and EVERY day.
Even though I have not been posting every day, I have worked out all but one. We skied on Sunday…I was pretty sore Monday, and still a little worried about my back, so I just did some stretching and called it a day.
Here is a cool circuit that I did today…some of you have done it. I was thinking that it would be a great QUICK, tough workout – if done THREE times, ideally without a break in between each exercise. If you need a break, try taking it after each time the circuit is completed.
Get in push up position – either on the flat side of a BOSU, the couch, a stair or the floor.
1) Bring one leg out to the side, keeping the toe pointed down, bring it back in. Alternate legs. 10-20 reps each side.
2) Bring your right leg, toward the left elbow. Alternate legs. 10-20 reps each side.
3) Either in full push-up position or on your knees, do push-ups – as many as you can with proper form – 10-30 reps.
If you are doing it correctly, you will feel these exercises in your outer and inner thighs, your shoulders and your ABS if you focus on keeping them contracted the whole time.
