I didn’t become a personal trainer to become a millionaire. In fact, I started off paying way more in daycare than I ever brought home. I joined this field because I truly believe in the power of TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF. Putting yourself in a position of priority for the betterment not only of yourself, but the people around you.

We’ve all heard the analogy that we need to put on our own oxygen masks first. I was way ahead of the trend in saying that, by the way. When I started my business, that was not something you heard all that often. Now you hear it everywhere. The truth of it is undeniable.

Back to the money. I didn’t get into this job for the money. I got into it because I love working with people and having an effect on their lives. So it’s about the CHANGE that happens WITHIN and TO the people I work with. Yes, I am talking about physical change, but I’m also talking about mental change. Emotional change. It’s an incredible feeling to know that the time you have spent with someone is affecting time outside of those sessions.  I’m addicted to it.
