A FULL day of snow, snow, snow…what to do? What to do? Looking around on Facebook today it seems that there are a couple of ways people handle snow days.
- baking/cooking
- projects they’ve been meaning to do forever
- watching movies
- working from home
Those are the major “buckets” that I saw, anyway. Being that my clients are all currently in person, I was not able to do my usual “work” from home.
I took the day and worked out (back and triceps and abs) and spent time with TWO projects that I am passionate about. I worked on my online fitness business and my charity event.
If you’re reading this blog, you know about my growing online fitness business. I am so psyched about how things are going. I love what I do and am excited at the idea of continuing to help women with their fitness and nutrition needs.
Secondly, I worked on “Running 4 Answers, a race against Alzheimer’s“, a 5k race and 2-mile walk benefitting Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. We have donated $250,000 over our first 7 years. Talk about a passion project. My mom passed away from Alzheimer’s after having it for over 15 years. Planning the event is a ton of work, but all worth it to be able to help an amazing organization raise money to stop it.
