- Take care of yourself FIRST, in order to take care of others
- Consistency, consistency, consistency

Last month I held a FREE 1-month (well, 5 weeks, really…it was going too well to stop at 4 weeks) program called C4…The Consistency, Consistency, Consistency Challenge. Its point? To spend a month working on getting consistent with our fitness and nutrition. I developed a framework and process to look at both aspects of our lives and GET CONSISTENT. We chatted on a closed Facebook group; with the members sharing questions, successes and “challenges” ;).
#SOS was created out of those 5 weeks. To be consistent, we need to know what is good for us and what isn’t. We need to understand the basics of what the body needs and how it works. I get SO many questions about these points that I felt obligated to create a guide to help you make the right choices to GET and STAY consistent with your nutrition.
I started with snacking because that can be the DOWNFALL of CONSISTENCY. We know what makes a healthy MEAL. It is the times BETWEEN meals, when we are running from one meeting to another…when we are picking up from soccer and dropping off at dance. During those times, with LIMITED time, we need to make choices that SUPPORT the consistency we are developing at mealtime.
